Brian Watley, General Manager
Brian started his career in sports more then twenty years ago as a Ball Boy/Clubhouse Attendant for the Kansas City Royals. He then worked for a number of entertainment/event staffing companies in the KC area. In 1997, Brian joined the Kansas City Attack working Game Day Operations. He was then promoted to Assistant General Manager of the Kansas City Comets (Attack) of the Major Indoor Soccer League until their departure in 2005. Brian then went on to become Assistant General Manager of the Kansas City Brigade of the Arena Football League. He has a Bachelor of Science from Central Missouri State University.

Jeff Husted, Director of Sales & Marketing
Jeff is excited to join the Comets staff as a Sports Marketing Manager. He has been working in Kansas City’s sports community for several years with 610 Sports and the Chiefs Radio Network before that. Jeff started playing soccer when he was six years old and credits the game with taking him across Europe and getting him through college. A native of Denver, Colorado Jeff still enjoys visiting the Rocky Mountain state with his wife and two kids.

Blake Clarensau, Director of Operations
Blake is excited to join the Comets staff as the Director of Operations. He has been working in the soccer community for several years...playing and putting together camps on 4 different continents around the world. Blake started playing soccer when he was four years and credits the game, and his father's on-field and off-field coaching, for getting him where he is today. As a Kansas City native, Blake is enjoying the opportunity to work with and impact the soccer community in the community where he was born.

Brian Roth, Ticket Sales Manager
Brian was born and raised in Chester, IL (Home of Popeye The Sailorman) and graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in May, 2000 with a B.A. Degree in Recreation Management. He grew up a die-hard fan of the St. Louis Steamers, Storm, and Ambush and has extensive knowledge of the MISL. After working part-time with the Ambush during his college years, Brian spent 7 years as the Director of Leagues and Fitness for the City of Perryville, MO at their $10 million Perry Park Center. While living in Perryville, he also served as PA Announcer for the Southeast Missouri State women’s soccer team. He then moved to Kansas City in December, 2007 to take a Sales Executive position in the Youth Soccer Department with the Kansas City Wizards of Major League Soccer. Brian then jumped at the opportunity with the Comets and the MISL just prior to the team’s announcement of their return in July, 2010 and hopes to bring the “Glory Days” of indoor soccer back to the Kansas City area. In his spare time, Brian plays indoor soccer 4 nights a week and is an avid fan of the KC Wizards, US Soccer, St. Louis Cardinals, and the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks.

Charleen 'Charlie' Keller, Business Manager
Charlie is from Kansas City, MO and quickly found a love for soccer and dance. Hard work for both sports earned her amazing travel throughout the U.S. as well as international travel to Italy, Germany, and Czech Republic for soccer at the age of 16. After high school, Charlie attended William Jewell College in Liberty, MO. During her years at Jewell she was a four year letterman for the women’s soccer team as well as the dance team. While in college, the women’s soccer team was ranked #3 and Dance Team was ranked #4 in the nation. She competed in the NAIA Women’s Soccer Nationals in 2003, 2004, and 2005 making it to the Final Four in 2003. Along with soccer nationals, Charlie competed in the UDA College Dance Nationals in Orlando, FL all four years, placing in the Top 10 2004-2006 and Top 5 in 2003. Charlie received her B.S. in Business Administration/Sports Management in December 2006. Since college, she has coached and taught dance throughout the Midwest ranging from studio dance to semi-pro dance teams. She is also a former coach for Futura FC having three girls’ teams and playing indoor and outdoor soccer until tearing both her ACL’s. Charlie currently teaches dance at All About Dance By Katye, and is the Dance Coordinator for the Comets’ Galaxy Girls. Her passion for soccer and dance has given her the opportunity to help build the Comets back up from the glory days. Charlie recently started playing soccer again with the El Padrino Outdoor Women’s Team, and couldn’t be more excited to be back in the game.

Gina Schiraldi, Account Executive
From Shawnee, KS and attended Baker University. Four year letterman for the women’s soccer team and captain Junior and Senior year. While in college, the Baker Women’s soccer team was ranked 2nd in conference and 17th in the nation. Received a B.S. in Sports Administration with a minor in Business in May 2010. During college I have coached the junior varsity girls’ soccer at Shawnee Mission West high school for the past two years and since college I have been coaching for the club KC Comets.

Mike Rodriguez, Account Executive
Michael is from Kansas City and his passion is coaching soccer in the community for 14 years with the Blackfire soccer club based in Lee’s Summit. Michael has been involved in the sports community as a Kansas City Chiefs Red Coater since 1989. During that time he was inducted in to the NFL Hall of Fame thru Visa Hall of Fans in 200 as the #1 Chiefs Fan. From 1999 to 2005 Michael was an account executive for the Kansas City wizards. He accomplished begin the #1 sales rep for the MLS. In 2006 Michael worked for the Kansas City Brigade during their inaugural season.
