Huw Williams, Director of Soccer Operations
Huw Williams has almost 30 years of sports management and marketing experience in the Kansas City area. Huw was originally appointed as FC Kansas City’s Assistant Coach for its inaugural season (a position he still holds) and was elevated to Director of Soccer Operations for the 2014 season. Born in Wales, Huw came to Kansas City in 1985 and has established a successful sports marketing and events company, Global Sports International and has hosted one the most successful (and longest running) camp operation in the Kansas City area since 1987. On the coaching front Huw has coached more State Champion teams in Kansas than any other coach. He has also coached multiple National Final Four teams and a National Champion in 2011. He has also been nominated as National Youth Coach of the Year by US Youth Soccer Association and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Prior to moving to Kansas City Huw played soccer for Balckburn Rovers in England and attained a BA in Human Movement Studies at the University of Wales in Cardiff. While at Cardiff Huw played on the All British Student Teams and was selected to play in the World Student Games in Tokyo. As FC Kansas City’s Director of Operations Huw is oversees all soccer operations for the club and is specifically responsible for all 1st team player personnel matters as well as the management of the Front Office Staff, and all day to day club operations. Huw and his wife Stephanie live in Roeland Park, Kansas and have 5 children – Nia, Gill, John, George and Tommy
Scott Levinson, V.P. Business Operations
Scott is a graduate from the University of Kansas. Scott’s entire career has been in marketing and promotions, spending the first nine years of his career as Marketing Director for the Kansas and Western Missouri Hooters Restaurant franchise. Scott then went on to become Marketing and Promotions Director for Sports Radio 810 WHB in 2001, putting on some of the biggest events for the station, including the Jim Rome Tour Stop. Scott left the station in 2004 to start his own corporate events company, which he still operates today. Growing up, Scott was a huge Comets fan, and was honored to be able to help bring back the thrill & excitement of professional indoor soccer to Kansas City in 2010. Scott played high school soccer at Shawnee Mission South, & still plays indoor soccer every Tuesday night. Scott also coaches his two daughters’ outdoor soccer teams in Overland Park.
Charleen ‘Charlie’ Keller, Director of Ticket Operations/Dance Team
Charlie is from Kansas City, MO and quickly found a love for soccer and dance. Hard work for both sports earned her amazing travel throughout the U.S. as well as international travel to Italy, Germany, and Czech Republic for soccer at the age of 16. After high school, Charlie attended William Jewell College in Liberty, MO. During her years at Jewell she was a four year letterman for the women’s soccer team as well as the dance team. While in college, the women’s soccer team was ranked #3 and Dance Team was ranked #4 in the nation. She competed in the NAIA Women’s Soccer Nationals in 2003, 2004, and 2005 making it to the Final Four in 2003. Along with soccer nationals, Charlie competed in the UDA College Dance Nationals in Orlando, FL all four years, placing in the Top 10 2004-2006 and Top 5 in 2003. Charlie received her B.S. in Business Administration/Sports Management in December 2006. Since college, she has coached and taught dance throughout the Midwest ranging from studio dance to semi-pro dance teams. She is also a former coach for Futura FC having three girls’ teams and playing indoor and outdoor soccer until tearing both her ACL’s. Charlie currently teaches dance at All About Dance By Katye, and is the Dance Coordinator for the Comets’ Galaxy Girls. Her passion for soccer and dance has given her the opportunity to help build the Comets back up from the glory days. Charlie recently started playing soccer again with the El Padrino Outdoor Women’s Team, and couldn’t be more excited to be back in the game.
Mike Rodriguez, Account Executive
Michael is from Kansas City and his passion is coaching soccer in the community for 14 years with the Blackfire soccer club based in Lee’s Summit. Michael has been involved in the sports community as a Kansas City Chiefs Red Coater since 1989. During that time he was inducted in to the NFL Hall of Fame thru Visa Hall of Fans in 2000 as the #1 Chiefs Fan. From 1999 to 2005 Michael was an account executive for the Kansas City Wizards. He accomplished being the #1 sales rep for the MLS. In 2006 Michael worked for the Kansas City Brigade during their inaugural season. Michael is currently living in Lee’s Summit with his wife and family.
Dan Brown, Account Executive
Dan is originally from Kansas City and has been involved in the soccer community here for nearly 30 years. In addition to working for KC Pro Soccer you can find Dan coaching for the FC Kansas City Youth Club. He has been coaching in the area for the past 12 years and is sharing his passion for the game with today’s youth players. Dan graduated from Olathe North High School and while playing there earned All Sunflower League and All Metro accolades. In addition to his high school accomplishments Dan was a member of the Region 2 Champions, Udinese ’74, that represented the state of Kansas in the US Soccer Youth National Championships. Dan went on to attend Washburn University where he earned a scholarship to be the place kicker for the Ichabods. While at Washburn Dan studied Public Relations and Broadcast Media. Dan loves all local Kansas City teams and is a true Kansas City sports fan. Dan lives in Overland Park with his wife Lacy, daughter Peyton and son Chance.
Aaron Jacobs, Account Executive
Aaron is originally from Leawood, Kansas, where he grew up and went to Blue Valley North High School. His passion for soccer was initially brought on from his exposure to the KC Comets, at a young age, with his family being season ticket holders until the team initially folded. Aaron attended the University of Kansas, where he received degrees in Philosophy and Political Science. Aaron also served as a year-long volunteer for the AmeriCorps*VISTA program and continues to volunteer his time with various community organizations. Aaron is currently living in Prairie Village, Kansas.
Taylor Bare, Account Executive
Taylor is from Anoka, MN and joined the Front Office team in September 2014. Prior to, she attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City where she had an outstanding soccer career with the women’s soccer team. Throughout her four year career, Taylor set school records for goals, assists, points, and game-winning goals. She also broke school single-game records for goals and points during her senior campaign. Taylor received her B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance in May 2014. Since graduation, she has played soccer in the WPSL with the Minnesota Twin Stars and looks to continue playing in different women’s leagues.
Michael Fosselman, Account Executive
Michael is one of the newest members of the KC Pro Soccer team, but he is no stranger to the sport. His passion for the game began at an early age. On the field, Michael was a 4-year player at Madonna University, in Livonia Michigan. Off the field, Michael earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management. After hanging up his cleats, Michael took the role of Program Director for the Michigan State Premier Soccer Program where he oversaw over 7,000 youths throughout the state of Michigan and Northern Ohio. Michael enjoys watching his daughters Gwen and Heidi grow and is currently coaching his oldest. When he isn’t involved in soccer or watching his daughters, you may find him on the 1’s and 2’s, DJing clubs, corporate events or weddings throughout Kansas City.

Hello Comets fans! My name is Jillian, and I am elated to come on board this season as your Comets Reporter! I will be covering any and all Comets community activities, home games and providing behind the scenes look at the 2014 Missouri Comets.
My soccer background consists of playing soccer at St Thomas Aquinas and then NCAA D1 ball at the University of Northern Iowa. Today I coach the Academy team in the FC Kansas City Club.
