Build-A-Bear Night – Home Opener
November 4, 2011

Thanks to our partners at Citizens Bank, the first 3,000 fans at the Independence Events Center will receive a custom-made Comets Build-A-Bear.  These Build-A-Bears are wearing an authentic Comets jersey complete with Citizens Bank across the chest and the Comets logo on the crest.  The Comets Build-A-Bear wears number 11 in honor of the year he debuted.

Schedule Night
November 18, 2011

Comets fans have been looking forward to the 2011-2012 season ever since the final whistle of the 2011 MISL Semi-Finals.  The first 3,000 fans to come to this game will be able to follow the team all season long with a Magnet Schedule.

Mascot Night
November 20, 2011

The madness continues this year as Calvin, the Comets Mascot, and all of his friends invade the Independence Events Center to cheer the team on.  At halftime they will break into two teams and try their…well…hands at playing a game of soccer.

Blue Out Game
November 26, 2011

The Comets will host the first annual Blue Out Night as we take on the Norfolk SharX.  Comets fans will be encouraged to deck themselves out in as much Comets Blue as they can find.  To help them, we will give every fan a blue Comets T-Shirt to wear and take home!

Toys 4 Tots
December 4, 2011

The US Marine Corp will once again be accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys at this game.  As a thank you for your donation, the Comets will hand you a certificate that is good for 10% off Comets merchandise throughout the arena.

Media Game
December 28, 2011

They write and report the stories we pay attention to every day, but can they walk the walk?  Media from all over the Kansas City Metro area will be invited to play a short indoor soccer exhibition at halftime of the Comets v. Wings game.  Radio vs. TV, Newspaper v. Radio…who will win?

Retro Game/Reunion Game
January 14, 2012

We once again honor the rich Indoor Soccer history of Kansas City with our annual Retro Game.  The players will wear a uniform inspired by the uniforms of the past.  Immediately afterward fans can purchase theses special uniforms straight off the players backs at an auction to be held right on the field.  A portion of the proceeds from the auction will be donated to charity. At halftime we will have a special exhibition match featuring alumni of the Comets/Attack taking on greats from all of the MISL’s past.  Last year’s exhibition saw greats like Gino Schiraldi, Kia and Jim Schwab play a spirited match.

Pink Game
February 10, 2012

The Comets Pink Game is back for 2012!  The players will once again be wearing a custom Pink Comets jersey as they take on Chicago.  These jerseys will also be auctioned off on the field following the game with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Ali Kemp Foundation.

Day of Giving
February 19, 2012

Our players feel blessed by the support they receive on a daily basis and they want to give back as often as they can.  On this day we will be highlighting our players’ charities and accepting donations on their behalf.  Among the charities involved will be Byron Alvarez Foundation, Leo Gibson’s Kicks For Christ and Danny Waltman’s “Danny Saves”.

30th Birthday
February 24, 2012

The Comets hit Kansas City in 1981 and took the city by storm.  Fans flocked to Kemper Arena by the thousands to see their heroes play indoor soccer.  We are celebrating the 30th anniversary of Indoor Soccer in KC with a 30th Birthday Party!  Fans will be able to celebrate with us as we literally blow out the candles on a gigantic cake before the game.

Fan Appreciation Day
February 26, 2012

The final game of the regular season will give the Comets a chance to say Thank You to all of our fans.  When they leave the Independence Events Center following another Comets win, fans will receive a DVD with highlights from 30 years of professional indoor soccer in Kansas City!
